ECRI Values & 80 Nations Survey SS21 (European Campus Rottal-Inn) 

Declaration of consent to the collection and processing of personal data  and participation in a survey
(Pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a, in conjunction with Art. 7 GDPR)  

Please read the following information carefully, and decide whether you would like to participate in a survey for two projects, the ECRI Values and the 80 Nations project. For any further information on the ECRI Values, please contact the project lead, Prof. Dr. Michelle Cummings-Koether, email: ECRIvalues@th-deg.de , or for the 80 Nations, please contact the project lead Ms. Miriam Bleck, email: kommunikation-marketing@th-deg.de

What are you expected to do? 
If you are a student or employee at ECRI and agree to participate, you will get access to a survey, which will take roughly 10 minutes to complete, depending on how much you want to share. You will be asked several short questions about your values and expectations regarding the European Campus Rottal-Inn. There are no right or wrong answers to these questions – we are interested in your opinions.   
For this purpose, we need your consent to participate in the survey and to collect and process your data.

Consent 
I hereby consent to participate in the survey. I also consent to the collection, storage, processing, disclosure, linking and deletion of the following personal data by the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT).

  • Status on campus (student or employee)
  • Age confirmation
  • Opinions about values and expectations

The data will be processed exclusively for the following purposes 
 ·      Research as part of the ECRI Values Project & 80 Nations project
 ·      To create visuals of the survey results
 ·      Publication of text, picture material and video on the university’s website 
 ·      Publication of text, picture material and video on the university’s social media channels 
 ·      Publication of text and image material on posters and advertising material for the project 
 ·      Publication of text, picture material and video produced for presentations or conferences.
·      Internal presentations at THD
·      Future research design of the ECRI Values/80 Nations Project or other THD projects that are related to, or will be created from these projects

My rights as a data subject 
The consent is given on a voluntary basis and I can revoke it at any time and without giving reasons with effect for the future. From receipt of the declaration of revocation, my data may not be processed further and must be deleted immediately. The revocation of my consent does not affect the legality of the processing that has taken place up to that point. I can send my revocation declaration to the DIT via the same way as I gave my consent or via the following way:

Consequences of non-consent 
The undersigned has the right not to consent to this declaration of consent. However, since our service depends on the collection and processing of the data mentioned, a non-approval would exclude the use of the service.

A note about Data Protection: all answers will remain anonymous, no personal information will be collected and all questions are optional

Please do not share any personally identifiable information. The survey will be used in the ways described on the previous page. 
We have created this survey with the intent of not collecting any personally identifiable information. Should you choose to include any personally identifiable information, your survey will not be used and deleted upon discovery.

This survey is a continuation of the ECRI Values project headed by Prof. Cummings-Koether. The ECRI Values project is intended to establish and promote the respective and common values at the European Campus and research and observe any changes over a longer period of time. The most commonly occurring answers (up to 25) will be used for the creation of a poster/ visual that will be distributed in the manner described above. 
The survey for "In 80 Nations around the World" is part of a project headed by Ms. Miriam Bleck. This projects sets out to show the faces of ECRI and tell their stories. Each nation will be represented by a person who studies or works at ECRI. Both projects are related to each other, but are managed separately.

In 80 Nations around the World 


The project "In 80 Nations around the World" sets out to show the faces of ECRI and tell their stories. Each nation will be represented by a person who studies or works at ECRI.
Through this project, we would like to show the people in and around Pfarrkirchen and ultimately people from all over the world what makes ECRI so special and what similarities and differences the nations and cultures have. One part of the project is to evaluate which values represents the participants the most and why. 

This part of the project, In 80 Nations around the World, is connected to the following part of this survey.
